Excellent facility close to the main lift (Vieux Moulin). Only criticism ia capacity restriction on the wifi, which may not be under CGH control, but access very poor at peak user times: needs attention.

Still a flawed gem. Fabulous place, sadly with a few enduring niggles it seems to refuse to sort. Flambeau is the best accommodation available in the valley no question. When we moved into the flat we had no loo seat and the oven didn't work. The loo seat was replaced in short order (with a rather nasty plastic affair that wouldn't stay in place but hey ho). They never came to look at the oven but luckily I didn't need it particularly. Biggest flaws are RUBBISH wi-fi that is the speed of dial-up. You also only get two access codes per flat which simply isn't enough if travelling with kids. Extra codes are 30 Eur. Fortunately they had found the temperature knob for the pool (which is lovely) this year. The saunas and steam rooms are top notch also although they do seem 'temperamental' and often don't quite work as they should. The showers in the pool area are also STILL quite useless in terms of pressure and indeed heat and the showers in the spa area are either cold or scalding. The choice is yours...
