The place was advertsed as being close to Cahors, and with an offer of 25per cent off the booking price I thought it worthwhile to try. In the event, the hotel was not opening until a fortnight after I arranged to stay. The Accuiel was closed for the duratyion, and the restaurant was not working on the night I stayed. The workers preparing the site for opening later in the month were helpful but I had to make the best of a bad deal, particularly as the domaine was advertised as being 14 Km fro Cahors and not the 41 Km it actually was. I met with several of the staff, but was not able to discern who was actually in charge

Calm hotel in woods and pure nature of the valley of the river Lot. A GPS is recommended to find this place! Restoration of rooms and general facilities are on-going, it's a campus-style env. for schools and larger groups. There's a surprisingly large size swimming pool of 10x25m for guests (in summer season). Rooms are pretty small. Espresso and fresh french baguette and croissants are delivered for breakfast, staff is very friendly, WIFI to internet service sometimes not available though. There's no Restaurant and no Mini-Bar in the rooms, as well as no TV, etc. but this was no problem for us. Overall Rating: price/performance is good; based on low-price for moderate/economic comfort.
