My wife and I are 55 so maybe we are not the demographic they are looking for. However, the hotel was decent but just as actual Cabo resorts go it was nothing special. From the minuscule front desk that could not change a 20.00 bill because they do not carry much cash at all to the decor. The view from the minute you walk into the hotel is quite spectacular and frankly unbeatable. You will have that same view from pretty much anywhere in the hotel. The hotel is in a great location to walk anywhere you want to go without a taxi. The food selection in the hotel is not very good. One restaurant that no one seems to use and a large restaurant by the pool with fairly normal food. However, if you want regular Ketchup with your fries, NO BUENO! They don't have any. They give you some weird sauce they tell you is Ketchup. They do have regular Ketchup all over Cabo in every restaurant. Now for the WONDERFUL MUSIC! (being very sarcastic here). We had heard before we went through current reviews that the music is unbearable. My wife and I thought we are pretty young 55 year olds and we will deal with it. (How bad could it possibly be we thought?) We got to the hotel around noon on a Saturday. About a few minutes after we checked the Saturday pool party started. HOLY CRAP!!!! TECHNO MUSIC!! and I am not kidding. The loudest techno music you have ever heard. Saturday the pool party and loud music goes from around noon to 8 PM. Non stop wall shaking want to kill yourself TECHNO MUSIC. After about 2 hours or less I was on the internet looking for a new place to stay. By the way, don't even think of asking for a different room that might be quieter. ALL rooms in the hotel are over the pool and face the water. You cannot ESCAPE THE MUSIC!! If you planned on leaving your sliding glass door open to enjoy the ocean sounds and breeze. Think again! If you want any peace and quiet you need to close the door but you will still hear THUMPING THUMPING all day. Just when you think the music is toning down it gets louder and louder. I spoke with a few of the guys who hound the hell out of you to take time share tours about the resort and they said over 50% of the income comes form the booze sales by the pool so they cater to that crowd. Just FYI. The pool parties are crazy ridiculous on Friday and Saturday and do tone down Sunday through Thursday. However, if you want some peaceful rest then STAY AWAY from ME Cabo.
